Net Zero Sport Summit - April 2023
In April 2023, Let Me Be Frank and Green Planet Sport came together to deliver the second Climate Action in Sport Event (the first was focused on Circularity in Sport).
Lord Mayor Sally Capp welcomed almost 100 people to the event and shared the Net Zero vision for the City of Melbourne. It was a great way to frame the summit.
This was followed up by 14 AMAZING panelists and speakers who openly shared their insights, lessons and practical strategies to deliver net zero organisations, clubs, action and events. Our evaluation reported that 87% of attendees thought that the range of speakers and the examples they gave were the best thing about the event.
Weβre pleased to share that 94% of you strongly agreed or agreed the event improved your knowledge about how to work towards net zero emissions.
A big thank you to our supporters: the City of Melbourne + Wilson, without whom the event would not have been possible.
And donβt forget to encourage everyone in your network to sign up to Climate Action In Sport. Together, we can grow our networks, share our lessons, drive action, and support each other.
Please enjoy the wonderful photos of the event taken by Matto Lucas Photography.
